Joins the “Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Project for Hotels

and Accommodations for Small and Medium Enterprises

under the Green Hotel Standard”

 

 

Moving forward to support the Thai tourism sector toward concrete sustainability standards.

On December 3, 2025, PAC Corporation (Thailand) participated in an exhibition booth and activities at the event

“Call for Proposals: Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Project for Small and Medium Hotels and Accommodations under the Green Hotel Standard (ThaiCI)”

organized through the collaboration of government agencies and international organizations, including:

  • Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
  • Department of Environmental Quality Promotion
  • German International Cooperation (GIZ)
  • The IKI project and other environmental partner networks

 

The main objective of this event was to empower the hotel sector to:

Reduce energy consumption

Reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions

Transition toward international Green Hotel standards

The event was attended by numerous hotel operators, environmental executives, and clean energy enthusiasts.

Key lectures and panel discussions covered important topics such as:

  • Guidelines for hotels transitioning to Green Hotels
  • Carbon Footprint measurement tools and ESG standards
  • Technologies that help reduce costs and energy consumption
  • Funding opportunities totaling over 30 million Baht from the ThaiCI project

where operators can submit proposals to develop more sustainable hotel systems.
