PAC Frenergy

For whom is PAC Frenergy?

PAC Frenergy is a water heater that uses the heat of the air conditioner. Hot water can be produced by extracting energy from the compressor before it’s being released into the atmosphere. It can produce hot water of up to 70°C without electricity. There are a lot of different models and sizes to suit the production of 60-450 liters.

  • Save 100% electricity for the production of hot water
  • Reduce the energy consumption of the air conditioner by up to 20%
  • 2 air conditioner units can be connected
  • Fast and effective production of hot water
  • Store hot water until you need it
  • Hotel & Hostel
  • Residence / Condominium
  • Hospitals
  • Factories
  • Restaurants / Cafes
  • Other businesses that use hot water regularly

PAC Frenergy

How does it work?

Connected heat exchange pipe to hot water tank from compressor discharge line. (Approximate temperature 90 -100°C)

Connected heat exchange pipe to hot water tank from compressor discharge line. (Approximate temperature 90 -100°C)

After exchanging heat to the tank, the refrigerant will go back through condensing unit while hot water stays in a water tank for usage.

Refrigerant exchanges heat through heat exchanger inside the tank increasing water temperature maximum to 70°C

FAQ

1. PAC Frenergy is the water heater which generated from air conditioner. Why is non-electricity used ?

Answer: The air conditioning system connected heat exchange pipe to the hot water tank from compressor discharge line. After exchanged heat to the tank, the refrigerant will back to the condenser cause the air conditioner lower operation then save electricity cost.

2. Does the air conditioner efficient loaded, while connected to water heater tank ?

Answer: No, on the other hand the air conditioner will be more efficient, less electricity consumption and lifespan extended.

3. Does the water heater need to be connected with all air conditioners ?

Answer: No, normally recommend the water heater tank connected to 1 or 2 of air conditioners only concern to daily usage.

4. How much degree is hot water generated ?

Answer: By non-electricity used, the water can be heated to 50-60°C.

5. What can be used for the hot water generated? Why it is safe for consumer ?

Answer: Many purposes can be use in hot water, such as shower, household cleaning, laundry, etc. By the tank is made of Vitreous Enamel Coated Steel, DIN 4753 which is the food grade. The water in the tank is not directly exposed to the refrigerant, then it safe to use the above purposes.

6. What is the capacity of electric backup heater? How many days can be keep the water heat ?

Answer: 1,000-1,500 watts depends on the user choice. The tank can keep the water heat for 3 days, variable to the temperature of the installation location.

7. What type of faucet should be used ?

Answer: Should be mixer faucet.

8. Does the heat recovery water heater install any anti-electric leakage or hot water burns prevention system ?

Answer: Basically the hot water by heat recovery water heater is not heated up by electricity, then anti-electric leakage protection system is needless.
However, the backup electric heater, have a ground wire to prevent the electric shock. For hot water burn prevention, normally use the mixer faucet to control and adjust the water temperature by user. The bypass valve and thermo valve are another solution for water temperature controller as an optional.

9. Can we use the hot water without turn on the air conditioner ?

Answer: The backup electric heater of 1-1.5 kW will be function to heat the water while the air conditioner is turn off. It is recommended to install electric backup heater to ensure the hot water can be supply at all the time while the electric bill un-impact.

10. How long does it take to heat up the water ?

Answer: Averagely water can be heated to 60°C in 2 hours vary on air conditioner and water heater capacity. If the same BTU air conditioner’s install with small water tank, it takes shorter time to heated up the water comparing install with large water tank.
