How does it work?

- PAC Pooltemper will absorb the ambient heat from the surrounding area into the machine.
- When PAC Pooltemper is installed with the pool, it will exchange the heating or cooling with the inlet water.
- When PAC Pooltemper reaches the set temperature. The machine stops working.
- PAC Pooltemper will maintain temperature when the inlet water temperature does not meet the set value temperature.

1. What is the working process of PAC Pooltemper ?
Answer: PAC Pooltemper functions just like an air conditioner. Firstly, the fan draws the outside air into the evaporator coil which absorbs the heat in the air. The refrigerant absorbs the heat and changes from the liquid into gas. Then, the refrigerant gas passes through the compressor. The compressor compresses the refrigerant to create higher temperature. The refrigerant with high temperature passes through the heat exchanger. As the pool water is pumped through the heat exchanger, the hot gas transfers its heat to the water. As a result, the pool water becomes hotter and the refrigerant transforms into the liquid form due to the lower temperature and pressure. The refrigerant flows to the pressure reducing valve and evaporator to begin the cycle again.
2. If the customer wants to install PAC Pooltemper, what capacity of PAC Pooltemper should it be ?
Answer: The capacity of PAC Pooltemper is calculated according to the pool size, the desired temperature and the time required for temperature adjustment. With the said information, the proper size of PAC Pooltemper can be calculated.
3. How is the electricity consumption for PAC Pooltemper to heat the water temperature when compare to electric pool heater ?
Answer: PAC Pooltemper uses the heat pump technology to warm the water. Therefore, it consumes the electricity only 20% compared with electric pool heater to control the water temperature.
4. 1. How is different between the Heat Pump and the Heater ? How can the heat pump save more electricity than the heater ?
Answer: The heat pump absorbs the heat from the outside air in normal temperature and transfers the heat to the water. But the heater is the heat generating device. It transmits the electricity via the coil. The coil becomes hotter and the hot coil directly heats up the water. The process consumes much more electricity to generate the heat.
5. Can PAC Pooltemper cool down the water ?
Answer: Yes. It can lower the water temperature to 10°C at maximum. PAC Pooltemper can generate either the heat or coldness at a time. It cannot generate both heat and coldness at the same time.
